Vitamin D3 + K2 (SHIELD)

SHIELD combines two fat-soluble vitamins, vitamin D3 and K2, in one small softgel. Vitamin D contributes to normal immune system function, to the maintenance of normal bones and to normal muscle function.

Vitamin K contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and to normal blood clotting. Vitamin D3 is included as cholecalciferol and vitamin K2 as menaquinone-7 (vitamin K2 MK7), the long-chain form.

Both are fat-soluble, which is why SHIELD carries them in extra virgin olive oil rather than a dry powder base, and why the softgel is taken with a meal. One softgel with your main meal and it is done.

Extra virgin olive oil Vitamin D3 and K2 are fat-soluble vitamins, dissolved in extra virgin olive oil as a carrier.

The softgel shell is made from bovine gelatin, not suitable for vegetarians or vegans. Full ingredient list: Extra virgin olive oil (Olea europaea), firming agent (bovine gelatin), gelling agent (glycerin), humectant (purified water), vitamin K2 (menaquinone-7), colouring agent (caramel), vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol).

Take 1 softgel daily with a glass of water, preferably with a meal. Dosage advice: Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Storage advice: Store in a cool, dry, dark place, out of reach of children. Not suitable for children under 14 years of age. If you take anticoagulant medication, consult a doctor before use. A healthy lifestyle and a varied, balanced diet are important. This supplement is not a substitute for either.
