Vitamin D3 + K2 (SHIELD)

From October to April the sun in the Netherlands is too low to make vitamin D, and if you work indoors you're often out of the sun in summer too. SHIELD is a vitamin D3 K2 supplement for men who want to close that gap simply, all year round. Vitamin D3 and K2 are both fat-soluble, which is why they come in extra virgin olive oil instead of a dry powder tablet.

One softgel provides 25 mcg vitamin D3 (1000 IU, 500% NRV) as cholecalciferol and 37.5 mcg vitamin K2 as menaquinone-7 (MK-7), the long-chain form. It's the combination you usually only find separately at the drugstore, here in one small softgel. The softgel is made of bovine gelatine.

Vitamin D3 and K2 are fat-soluble vitamins, dissolved in extra virgin olive oil as a carrier. The softgel shell is made from bovine gelatin, not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.

Full ingredient list: Extra virgin olive oil (Olea europaea), firming agent (bovine gelatin), gelling agent (glycerin), humectant (purified water), vitamin K2 (menaquinone-7), colouring agent (caramel), vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol).

Take 1 softgel daily with a glass of water, preferably with a meal. Dosage advice: Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Storage advice: Store in a cool, dry, dark place, out of reach of children. Not suitable for children under 14 years of age. If you take anticoagulant medication, consult a doctor before use.
