Astaxanthin + Vitamin E (ECLIPSO)

ECLIPSO contains astaxanthin, a carotenoid from astaxanthin oil, combined with natural vitamin E. Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Astaxanthin is a red carotenoid pigment, the same compound that gives salmon and certain algae their colour.

ECLIPSO uses astaxanthin oil from Haematococcus pluvialis, a freshwater alga, at 4 mg astaxanthin per softgel. These astaxanthin capsules with vitamin E come in softgel form. Astaxanthin and vitamin E are both fat-soluble, which is why they sit together in a base of refined soybean oil. One softgel at a fixed moment of the day keeps the formula easy to add to a daily routine.

Astaxanthin oil and natural vitamin E form the core of the formula. Refined soybean oil carries both fat-soluble ingredients within the softgel. Per daily dose (1 softgel): astaxanthin 4 mg, vitamin E 5 mg (41.7% RI). RI = Reference Intake; no reference intake has been established for astaxanthin.
