Multi-Botanical Vitamin Complex (CORTEX)

CORTEX combines a blend of bacterial cultures from 9 documented strains and prebiotic fibres with extracts of American ginseng, Spanish sage, Bacopa monnieri and saffron, complemented by kelp and vitamins B6 and B12.

Iodine from kelp contributes to normal cognitive function. Vitamin B6 and B12 contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to normal nervous system function. The base consists of bacterial cultures from nine documented strains, together providing 12 billion CFU, alongside prebiotic fibres from acacia fibre and inulin

Cereboost™ is a standardised extract of American ginseng and Bacopin® is standardised to 20% bacosides. The iodine in CORTEX comes from kelp extract. Vitamin B12 is included as methylcobalamin and vitamin B6 as pyridoxal-5'-phosphate (P5P).

CORTEX is not a complete vitamin B complex, but contains a targeted combination of vitamin B6 and B12.

Vitamin B6 A nine-strain bacterial cultures and a prebiotic blend form the base, combined with five botanical extracts and the active forms of vitamin B12 and B6. Per daily dose (1 capsule): bacterial cultures 12 billion CFU, prebiotics 168.3 mg, American ginseng extract 100 mg, Spanish sage extract 50 mg, kelp extract 37.5 mg (of which iodine 37.5 µg, 25% RI), Bacopa monnieri extract 20 mg (of which bacosides 4 mg), saffron extract 10 mg, vitamin B12 2.5 µg (100% RI), vitamin B6 0.7 mg (50% RI).
